To be honest, step up DC voltage is a little bit complicated instead of difficult. Then why? Because if we want to boosted DC voltage with a transformer, which has to be converted.

That’s to say, DC current should pass the oscillation circuit and be converted into AC current; Then AC current steps up its voltage; Finally, the rectifying and filtering AC current is the required step up DC voltage.

In a nutshell, there are three major procedures in this process:

1.Converting DC current into AC current;

2.Boosted AC current via step-up transformer;

3.Converting step up AC current into step up DC current by DC transformer.
