As for the PCB Design Software is used to build Intel Motherboard:
Schematic design—ORCAD;
PCB Layout—Allegro(Cadenc), because this software is powerful, which has a coulpe of advantages in terms of drawing huge PCB.
( BTW, 10 years ago, PADS was also usually used to do PCB layout.)
