Apparently, digital insulation tester is better than analog one.

Why?

1)Digital insulation tester tends to stop pressurization when the leakage current is excessive, which is helpful to prevent the electronic device not being breakdown and increasing the reparing cost;

2)Digital insulation tester is also able to provide a couple of test voltage that meets the test requirements of different types; While analog insulation meter can only provide a kind of output voltage.
