The reasons why the desktop computers haven’t become obsolete already:
1)Powerful hardware performance;
2)Affordable price;
3)Better gaming experience (larger monitors);
4) Easier upgrading of hardware;
At present, the desktop computers aren’t of obsolescence right now. However, it's likely to be replaced by other computers (like laptop) in the next few decades.
